Two cousins, a van, and a love of parties.
We're Aoife and Conor — two cousins from Co. Wicklow who've been blowing up balloons and lugging castles since 2016. What started as a favour for a neighbour's communion turned into a full-time job we genuinely love.
Our story
No corporate ladder, no warehouse, no franchise. Just us, the van, and a calendar full of birthdays.
A favour that got out of hand
In 2016 Aoife agreed to do a balloon arch for her neighbour Saoirse's communion. Three weeks later the parish WhatsApp group had her number. By the end of that summer there was a spreadsheet, a van on hire-purchase, and a name on the side of it.
Conor came in a year later to handle the bouncy castle side — mostly because Aoife refused to lift them. Ten years on, we still run the whole thing between the two of us and a small crew of regulars.
Hand-tied, never courier-shipped
Every balloon garland is tied in our shed in Bray the night before. No drop-shipped helium kits, no "self-assembly" nonsense posted from England. We arrive, we set it up, we tweak it until you nod.
Same goes for the castles — Conor brings them, anchors them, runs the blower check, and walks you through the safety bits. Then he gets out of the way of the craic.
All of Ireland, no excuses
We deliver as far as Co. Donegal and as far south as Co. Cork. Anywhere within an hour of the M50 is no charge. Further afield we add a small fuel contribution — never a surprise, always on the quote.
If you're booking for a holiday cottage in Kerry or a wedding in Connemara, just ask — we've done both more than once.
You celebrate. We disappear quietly.
The best feedback we ever got was from a granda in Kilkenny who said "I didn't even know yis were here, the place looked like that all morning." That's the goal. Get in, make it lovely, get out.
We collect at whatever time you agreed — usually after the cake, before the small ones meltdown. No hovering, no hard sell on next year.
